Vintage Connolly men's shoes size 11 D. Made in Stillwater, MN

Vintage Connolly men's shoes size 11 D made in Stillwater, MN. The label on the insole is faded and I couldn't capture it in a picture, bit it is still there. Size designation is 4110 in the old width/length system where 4=D.  Connolly went out of business in 1967.  So, they made no later than 1960.
If they were made in the 60s, Connolly made a better shoe than Florsheim blue label during this period (in my opinion). If they are older, they'd be comparable to 1950s Florsheim blue label.
The uppers are kangaroo leather, something Connolly was known for. I bought them from a seller who thought the size was a 41 (eu sizing for 8), so they are way to big for me. Otherwise, I'd gladly wear shoes that were made 30 min from my house!
