The Guth model 10-4 Alcohol Breath Test Simulator has been approved by NHTSA. This instrument has an improved mercury-in-glass serialized thermostat. All components are chrome plated or stainless steel within the wet chamber area of the instrument. The container is a graduated laboratory glass container. The simulator has a power switch and long life power and heater indicator lamps. To monitor the temperature of the simulator the instrument is provided with a high-precision, sterialized NIST reference mercury-in-glass thermometer. Replacement parts are interchangeable with Mark IIA simulator parts.
