This is an original campaign button / pinback attached to a campaign ad for Gene Mammenga. A Bemidji Minnesota resident and college professor running for re-election.
He performed as a Minnesota Senator from 1967 to 1972. This vintage ephemera shows he and his two daughters on the backside. The girls are wearing straw hats regarding the campaign of Wendell Anderson. Former Minnesota Governor and Senator
The paper measures approx. 5" by 3.5", shows edgewear and was taped many years ago. Still a nice collectible regarding Minnesota history and it's politics. The pinback has not been removed from the paper and appears in good condition.
