    Description

This listing is for a 1947 sterling silver basketball charm from Senator Frank "Hap" Farley's Junior Basketball league. It is made of sterling silver and marked "Sterling" on the bottom and " Sen. "Hap" Farley Frank  Jr. Leg" on the front.  It is about the size of a grape.
Farley was an Atlantic City, NJ born senator from 1941-1972. When Nucky Johnson--of HBO's Boardwalk Empire fame---was convicted of tax evasion and sent to prison, Frank Hap Farley succeeded Enoch "Nucky" Johnson as boss of the Atlantic County Republican party. He went on to become the most powerful Senator in the history of New Jersey.
    Condition: Good-needs polishing.
