1931 Ford Model A

Description

This Auction is for a 1931 Ford Model A deluxe rumble seat coupe.
Original 4cyl 3spd std . It is a factory 6 wheel (dual side mounted car) . It is a rust free California car that was brought to Maine a few years ago. The car had under gone a frame off restoration at that time. I have had a lot of Model A's and this one by far is the best body we have owned. The car is equipped with it's factory rumble seat, deluxe interior, rare roll down rear window, adjustable front seat, wing winds, cowl lights, radiator quail mascot , etc. The car has been upgraded with a 39 Ford trans , higher  grade clutch and pressure plate, and an after market overdrive unit. The over drive unit was working until a few weeks ago . Now when you flip the switch the light comes on but goes right back out. Probably a solenoid switch. Has an upgraded exhaust. The car runs and drives superbly . Has excellent steering . Has shocks all the way around. Has leak less water pump and upgraded to an alternator. All the rubber is close to new. Glass is all good. Painted in the original colors of Bronson yellow with dark brown accent and black fenders. All Henry Ford steel. I personally would paint the wheels a bright color like orange and the same color pin stripe on the body to make it pop but that is totally up to the next owner. If you have been looking for a good honest Model A that won't break the bank than this may be for you.
We have a current Maine registration and all proper dealer transfer paper work should you need a title in your state. We even have the last California registration that we will forward to you also. If you need time to arrange shipping we will store the car for you for a short period of time while you arrange shipping. We require a 00 non refundable deposit at the close of auction and balance to be paid within 3 days of auctions end. We reserve the right to end the auction early in case of a local sale. Thanks for all the interest in the Model A. We have ,500 in the car as I told some of you who have called. The good part is we just had an acceptance on an offer on a piece of property that we have been after for some time so in return we are lowering the reserve on the car as the funds would help with our deposit on the property. Someone is going to get a great deal. Thanks Bob.
